Personal Attributes/Functional Competencies:

    Qualifications – Degree qualified and/or relevant professional qualification

    Experience – 2 years’ experience in a leadership role. Experience in cargo handling/terminal logistics is recommended. Understanding of ISO 9001/14001 is an advantage.

    Skills – leadership, staff management and planning.

    Analytical Thinking – Good at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.

    Strategic Perspective – Needs to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind, and not be deflected by matters of detail.

    Stress Handling - Retaining objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under conditions of stress

    Applying standards – Good in application of relevant industry and process standards to all

    Willing to work in a highly complex and challenging environment

    Being a leader who is able to promote growth, confidence and skill from his/her team.

    Must be computer literate. Experience using SAP will be an added advantage.
